New senior management appointments for Expotel

Expotel, one of the UK's leading independent hotel reservations, business travel and conference and event management agencies, today announced several senior management appointments.

Rabi Rabindrakumar has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Rabi has over 30 years' experience of operations and customer service management experience working with a number of large services businesses with particular emphasis on the communications and technology sector.

Mark O'Brien has been appointed as Commercial and Operations Director, Travel and Exhibitions. Mark has over 20 years' experience of the travel services industry including an extended period leading the EMEA regional business for Rosenbluth prior to their take over by American Express.

Sherie Starkey has been appointed Commercial and Operations Director, Conference and Events. Sherie comes from NIS Europe where she was Commercial Director; she also spent six years at Rosenbluth International. Sherie has over 20 years' experience in the travel industry.

Steve Savage has been appointed to the position of Business Development Director, Public Sector. Steve has over 20 years' experience in the travel industry; Steve was previously Commercial Director at Carlson Wagonlit.
